Faith in action – sharing our goods. Helping people to help themselves regardless of, nationality or religious beliefs. Helps with development, education, health projects, responds to crises & campaigns for fairer distribution or wealth.

NAOMI HOUSE CHILDREN’S HOSPICE

Naomi House provides palliative care, respite, terminal and bereavement care and support to children and their families from central and Southern England, in a home from home environment.

ANDOVER FOOD BANK SHOE BOX, CHRISTMAS APPEAL

This annual project enables individuals or groups to fill ordinary shoeboxes with small toys, school supplies, hats, scarves and other gifts for vulnerable children in need locally this includes young carers.

ANDOVER/BASINGSTOKE FOOD BANK

Is a Local Charity within our pastoral area. It supports families and individuals in short term crisis who are without the means even to buy food. They liaise closely with other local charities and social organisations to provide support.

MAYPLACE – BACKPACKS FOR THE HOMELESS

Mayplace is a hostel offering budget accommodation to homeless people in Basingstoke. In 2016 we began supporting this charity. The backpacks contain: hat, gloves, socks, flasks, baby wipes, roll mat for sleeping on, sleeping bag and other vital essentials for rough sleepers.

THE BRITISH LEGION POPPY APPEAL

Last year, The Royal British Legion asked the nation to Rethink Remembrance by recognising the sacrifices made not just by the Armed Forces of the past, but by today’s generation too.

For many people, Remembrance is associated with the fallen of the First and Second World Wars. While we will always remember them, the Legion wants to raise awareness of a new generation of veterans and Service personnel that need our support.

MACMILLAN

Provides practical, medical, and financial support for sufferers, and pushes for better cancer care.

 

 

MARIE CURIE

Provides personal care and nursing at home for people with Cancer.
